Cargo plane entering the flock of birds made an emergency landing at Atatürk Airport
The cargo plane, which made the flight from Istanbul Atatürk Airport to Almaty, landed at Atatürk Airport in an emergency after the bird drove into the flock shortly after take off.

According to the information obtained, TK-6220 flight Boeing 777 type cargo plane belonging to Turkish Cargo departing from Istanbul Atatürk Airport took off at 08.40 to make the flight to Almaty.
A while after the plane took off, it entered the bird flock. After the incident, there was damage to the nose and body of the plane. Thereupon, the captain pilot of the plane contacted the Atatürk Airport Air Traffic Control Tower and requested emergency landing permission.
Thereupon, the Boeing 777 type aircraft circled through the air to drain fuel. The plane, which discharged fuel, then made an emergency landing at Atatürk Airport. The plane was taken off the flight and moved to the hangar for maintenance.
